Chemistry Quest (Ages 8-13) January
Four-week science program. Three, 2-Hr sessions in December (Dec 3, 10, 17) + at-home DIY polymer project. Includes hands-on experiments, STEMpact WV exclusive curriculum, and instruction from our award-winning educators exploring atoms, molecules, and chemical reactions.

One Time Workshops
Intro to 3d Printing
Design and customize your own name keychain using beginner-friendly design tools. We will print each design on a 3D printer, and finished keychains can be taken home once printing is complete. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 80 Stratus Drive, Cabins, WV. All ages are welcome with no prior experience required. Bring a tablet or laptop if able (not required).

Intro to ROcket SCience
Design and customize your own model rocket while learning basic rocketry principles in this hands-on, launch-day workshop. Watch your creation blast off and explore the science behind flight and motion. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 80 Stratus Drive, Cabins, WV. All ages are welcome with no prior experience required. Transportation is required to access the nearby launch site (approx. 2 minutes from class).

Intro to Scratch Coding
Get ready to jump into coding and animation! Design, code, and create your very own playable video game using Scratch, the beginner-friendly coding platform developed by MIT. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on December 10th at 80 Stratus Drive, Cabins, WV. All ages welcome, no prior experience needed. Bring a tablet or laptop, and we’ll guide you through every step!

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE: SPECIAL TIME ARRANGEMENT
Designed for teams with prior approval from STEMpact WV. Meets at a special time/place arranged in advance. Ten, 2-Hr practice sessions (week of September 17–week of November 19) + optional state competition. Only select this option if your team has received prior approval by STEMpact WV.
