Competitive Teams

STEMpact WV supports competitive robotics and drone teams for students from elementary through high school. We operate the Moorefield Robotics Boosters, which provides resources and support for school-based teams at Moorefield Elementary, Moorefield Intermediate, Moorefield Middle, and Moorefield High schools. We also directly support community-based FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and Aerial Drone Competition teams that welcome public school, homeschool, private school, and other local students.

Through these programs, young innovators develop engineering, coding, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills while preparing for competitions at the regional, state, and national levels.

Registration for our competitive robotics teams is offered seasonally, typically opening in August, with practices beginning in mid-September. Registration dates for our competitive drone teams will be announced once available.
